took of his progress. Here's what else he had to say:
"19 months, and 4 months with the
TA.
The first 15 months of T tapping were a nightmare. (Compared to the TA)
The skin tears, blisters, tape
residue, and not to mention the hassle of making and applying
the damn things. Keeping them dry while taking a shower was a whole lot
of fun. When I went with the TA, my fauxskin covered the coronal ridge,
and stayed there without any assistance. I
just could not seem to get any more growth, I was stuck.
Then came Jim’s wonderful invention.
The Tug Ahoy. I ordered mine the end of April, and it arrived the first
week of May. It took me only a few minutes to put it on the first time,
and I have been going ever since. The TA is so comfortable that I
hardly know that I am using it. I
have had not one problem with wearing or applying the
device. No skin tears or bruising. I tug for 18 hours a day. Six days a
week, and take Sundays off. Every four weeks
I take 4 days off.
Now the good part. Thanks to the TA, my
Glans is completely covered when not tugging. Even when I get up in the
morning I have full coverage. Some would say that I am restored, but I
want about two inches of overhang. I feel at the present rate of growth
I should be there in Jan of 2001, my two year mark.
I would recommend the Tug Ahoy to
any man wanting to restore his Foreskin. It is so easy to use that I
could never go back to taping again.
Another good thing is it only takes about 10 seconds to put the TA on,
and about 2 seconds to take it off.
You don’t have to soak in the tub for 20 minutes, then pull it off.
Sex can be spontaneous again. You don’t have to worry
about getting it wet every time you take a wiz. Just keep it clean.
In the last four months [with the TA]

2008, is

The results, for me, of the last 13 months have been quite amazing. I use the Tug Ahoy a lot, but take breaks from time-to-time
(ie. travelling, airports, etc.). This may play a small role, as I have noticed increased skin growth (in a more rapid fashion) after a modest amount of time without use. I REALLY like the feel of wearing it (and, quite honestly, miss wearing it the times I do not). I enjoy the feel, the pulling, and I tend to wear it with quite a lot of tension.
The results have been very positive. I find the Tug Ahoy a lot easier to use now than, say 6 months ago. I have quite a lot of extra foreskin now, to tuck in underneath the outer shell. It stays on better too, which is a bonus.
Future plans - well, as mentioned, I plan to continue use. I love all the new skin. As mentioned in one of my photo captions, masturbating is not even remotely similar to the way it was before. Having foreskin to stroke over the head of my cock, provides a tremendous feeling (rather than just stroking the daylights out of the shaft of my cock, as I did before). I get aroused/hard just thinking about it (the feeling).

And I really hope, for the sake of the MANY (way too many!) circumsized men out there, that this plays some small role in getting people comfortable going down the path of restoration. And the Tug Ahoy option, from all that I have read (and I did extensive research at the beginning before selecting) seems to provide the best results (not to mention it is so easy to use, once you get the hang of it). I REALLY, REALLY wish that I had started this process 10 - 15 years ago. C'est la vie, as the French say (such is life!).

little progress in the past two years, in spite of diligent

And, Now Here is Tug Ahoy User Number Three
My restoration project commenced in
October 1999 after much research into the subject. I was cut medium-tight, and
very unevenly. At first I could only manage a tape strap method, and employed
that for the first couple of months. Then I progressed to the T-tape method,
which worked very well for me. I was tugging day and night, six or seven days a
week. I started packing the skin tube with compressed foam rubber, and
eventually was packing more than 12" of the stuff into the T-tape.
The biggest hassle for me was that by
now my tapes were lasting only a day or two at most. Sometimes the tape would
delaminate substantially in the middle of the day at work, and I would have to
unclip my strap to avoid tugging too hard on the skin still under tension. My
growth rate slowed down about this time also, partly because I was often tugging
for only a few hours on the second day with a tape before the tape would give
out. I also was getting burned out with the constant changing of tapes, making
them, and trying to keep them dry in the shower, etc.
Then I came across the Tug Ahoy at the
June 2000 NORM So. Cal. meeting. I saw how it worked and purchased one that day.
Since then I have used it almost exclusively, only occasionally breaking away
from it to provide a little variety to the routine. My growth rate picked up
again, and the convenience factor of applying and removing the Tug Ahoy made it
a joy to wear.
For me, the Tug Ahoy is very
comfortable to wear. It is less noticeable in my pants than the foam-packed
T-tape or a PUD. I have not experienced any skin tears, which was a minor
problem with T-tapes. I keep the device clean by washing it regularly in warm
water and mild soap. And as the accompanying photos illustrate, it works! For
the most part, the skin stays in place on its own for several hours. I continue
to tug so that I will develop a little overhang to further assist in complete
closure of the opening, even in warm weather.
A note about these photos: I took them
about 20 minutes after taking a warm shower, with nothing applied to the penis
to hold the skin in place over the glans. The room temperature was about 70
degrees, Fahrenheit. I am pleased with the results produced with the Tug Ahoy.
The photos were taken in June, 2001, after using the Tug Ahoy for one year.

for just eight months!
